•Independence Day Dance and Fireworks
Every
July 3rd, the City of Shell Lake comes out to celebrate
Independence Day in style. There is live music and a dance. At dusk, approximately 9:45 p.m., Shell Lake puts on an impressive fireworks
display near Memorial Park over the lake - watch it from the large
grassy area (see picture) near the Shell Lake Pavilion, or
from your boat! After the fireworks are over, the music and
dancing continue.

•Concerts
Having the Shell Lake Arts Center in
town has it's advantages - there are musical concerts of one kind
or another almost every week! The Center specializes in
music education, and nearly every week, the Center puts on a
concert with little or no admission fee to the public. Some
of the concerts are held at the Center, while others are held in
the Performing Arts Pavilion on the lakefront. For more
information on these concerts, and the educational opportunities
at the Shell Lake Arts Center, please see
